Welcome to the Wardrobe!  Obviously, this is a C.S. Lewis reference, of whom I was a fan long before the movies. The Wardrobe is a portal, but I’m not necessarily looking only for Narnia. I am an ordinary person looking for magic and wonder in a world that may seem devoid of it at times. But I know it’s out there; I have seen it. I am a writer of fantasy fiction, one who seeks for worlds beyond this one.  But I don’t want to be like other writers, who cannot have dreams of their own. I want to write something new. That is the purpose of this blog. I mostly comment on what I like, what works and what doesn’t, and hope to hear from you in return.  What do you want to see in a fantasy world? Who are the people that inhabit it? I assure you, they are people like you. They have fears and dreams, secrets and personalities.  I don’t want to see flat characters coming out of my pen.  What makes fantasy come alive to you? Let me know, because as a writer of fiction, I am a creator of worlds. Not The Creator; I believe that spot is already taken, and I am glad I am not Him. I make too many mistakes. And it should be known, I want to have everything I do bring Him the glory. But as I was created, so I want to create. Join me on a Journey to seek for magic that can infiltrate our world as readily as a fantasy realm.  No cliches, no stereotypes.  Just real wonder that can form itself into worlds beyond our dreams.
